You could make a strong case for saying that the sash window is the most stylish window design out there – it’s been around for 400 years, so it’s a fair point. It looks even more stylish when you incorporate Georgian bars into the sash window. They can be opened by moving the panel vertically upwards and will therefore create a decent sized opening for those times when you need to ventilate your living quarters. Traditionally, they would be constructed from timber, but UPVC outperforms wood in every respect.
Georgian bars have also been included in the French doors and their accompanying side panels. They open outwardly when pushed via the handle and provide direct access to the patio where we envisage that al fresco enjoying will be sampled on many occasions. Whilst discussing the work we have done at the back of the house we should mention the arched sash window – our designers cleverly crafted a window to fit the aperture. The project was concluded once we had fitted a composite door in a powerful black colour. It’s a commanding addition to the property and will protect the people and possessions within it. There’ll be no getting past this home!
