The new window frames are equally as slender as the framework used in the bi-folding doors. This has enabled a large volume of glass to be included and the glazing promises to enhance thermal efficiency. A multitude of colour options were assessed prior to the window and door installation going ahead, but once the owners of the house saw Chartwell Green there was only winner. It works perfectly with the cream coloured brickwork and gives the whole place a touch of authenticity that you’d normally only get when fitting traditional windows and doors. It also provides a beautiful contrast to the wood-like front door which is in actual fact made up of a number of maintenance-free materials.
