SOLID TILED ROOF CONSERVATORY WITH NEW WINDOW FRAMES
A few subtle alterations to this old conservatory helped turn it into an ultra-chic garden room fit for every occasion.
Utilising your conservatory may have become a thing of the past if it no longer provides sufficient thermal efficiency. It doesn’t have to be this way, as the following installation proves. When the occupants wanted to inject their home extension back into the life they commissioned the fitting of a bespoke solid roof. Once the roof was successfully sealed and made watertight it made an enormous difference to the internal ambience and had house members rushing to use it again. The colour applied to the solid roof tiles makes the roof look as though it is the original covering.
As an accompaniment to the new roof they also asked that we install new white coloured UPVC windows. They too have helped to enhance thermal efficiency and are complemented with traditional white roofline (guttering, downpipes). Access to the patio area from the conservatory comes courtesy of a handy side entrance and there’s a beautiful set of patio doors for when they’re entering or exiting the structure. So that the little bit of natural light lost following the solid roof installation is barely felt, downlighters sit in the roof and can be turned on to accentuate the interior at night. This rejuvenated design has never been in such high demand.
