Three Events You Can Enjoy From Your Conservatory This Winter

One thing we hear too often is that conservatories aren’t good for winter, well we can think of many reasons why a conservatory is the perfect space for the winter months. Just have a look at the way your conservatory could be great for these three upcoming events!

Halloween – Halloween is a great time, especially if you have children. One great idea we heard this year was to turn your conservatory into a haunted house for yours and your friend’s children. Put up some scary decorations in your conservatory and back garden to entertain the children, play some Halloween music, Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Monster Mas are our favourites. Halloween themed treats are also a must have, sweets such as gummy worms and other Halloween themed confectionery are always readily available around this time! The bonus to this is that you can easily entertain the kids without having to traipse door to door trick or treating!

Bonfire Night – Another favourite for those with children, visiting a bonfire is great but for us, the real fun is the fireworks! The problem is it always gets a bit nippy doesn’t it? Not a problem with a conservatory, it can essentially be your own heated viewing platform! Get some tasty food in and blankets, turn the lights down low and enjoy the light show from the comfort of your own home. Can’t see the display from your conservatory? Why not have your own? Just be careful!

Christmas – We all love Christmas (even Scrooge softened to it in the end). Having family around is great, but it can get a little bit cramped in the front room all squeezed onto the settee and round the table for lunch. A conservatory is the perfect area to ensure your Christmas day goes down stress free, whether that’s for an extra seating area or just somewhere to leave the kids to play with their new toys!
