Before the Project: Pre-Installation Preparation
The start point for any project is an initial site survey. Viewing your home enables us to give you a quote and will inform the undertaking.
After putting your order in, the full survey gets set up. This is more meticulous and when we take exact measurements, keep our eyes peeled for any obstacles we’ll face, and ensure everything is well.
Although it is ultimately your responsibility, Planet will help with the organising of planning permission and building regulations approval, where relevant.
During the Project: The Path we Take
Our installers are the best in the industry and you’ll find them charming to deal with. Ahead of embarking on the project, details of the work schedule will be provided so you’re aware of what will happen. A final check of the product will be done before a start is made.
Rules revolving around safety will be followed to protect everyone’s welfare – may we kindly ask that young and children and pets aren’t permitted into the work zone.
Surfaces will be covered with dust sheets and any mess that we do create will be tidied up by ourselves.
After the Project: Walkthrough & Support
Gaining your satisfaction is important to us, so a walkthrough of the product will be provided for you to scrutinise what we’ve done.
Upon your final approval, documentation in the form of our 20 years guarantee will be placed into your hands, which tells you about Planet’s reliable aftercare service.
Call our aftercare department if you forgot to ask the installers a question or need something correcting further down the line – you won’t be deserted by us, we’re always here.
